An American actress, who was born as Dorothy Jeannette Hufford in Los Angeles, California, on January 12, 1920, and died on May 8, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Dorothy Green began her professional career working on the Pasadena Playhouse before moving to television and film in the early fifties. Her activity is directed towards television more than cinema, as she presented, during more than four decades, 17 films and 102 television works. Her first movie appearance was The Big Heat (1953), and her first major role was in No Time to Be Young (1957).
