An American ballerina and actress, born October 4, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She studied ballet and moved to New York and was a member of the Russian Ballet Company from 1939 until 1942. She debuted in 1941, then appeared in many movies, including The Gay Parisian (1941), Siren of Atlantis (1949) and The Prince Who Was a Thief (1951).
