Spanish actor and producer, born on August 7, 1954, in Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain. His ex-wife is Marisol de Mateo. He is known for Los Serrano (2003), Celda 211 (2009), and Lucky Star (1997). From 2015 to 2016, he was the President of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
