He occasionally appeared in small parts in his own productions, including: The Haunted Strangler (1958), Two Way Stretch (1960), the mini-series Peter and Paul (1981). He got married to Dorothy Provine and had one child with her before her death. He died on March 17, 2017 in Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA.
