A Greek writer and director, born in Kastoria, Greece. His works include Birds (or How to Be One) (2020). His short film The Last Fakir (2005) won the Newcomer Prize at Greece's Drama International Short Film Festival. His debut feature film, L (2012), won the first prize (Grand...Read more Prix) at the Kyiv International Film Festival "Molodist" in 2012. His second feature film, Pity (2018), won several awards, including Best Film at the 2019 Hellenic Film Academy Awards, the FIPRESCI Prize at the Torino Film Festival, and Best Film and Best Director at the Odesa International Film Festival.
