French actor and director, born in Switzerland. He got married to Françoise Petit on June 12, 1987. He studied at Paris College of Art (1970-1973). He graduated from the Neuchâtel Business School. He made his debut in the movie R.A.S. (1973). He participated in approximately 131 works, most notably: Madame Bovary (1991), La menace (1977), and The French Revolution (1989).
