He is an American actor, born on October 13, 1937, in Milan, Indiana, USA. While in high school, he was on the 1954 Milan High School basketball team that won the 1954 Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) State Tournament. He graduated from Indiana University. He is known for Kingpin (1996), Contact (1997), and The Buddy Holly Story (1978).
