He is a British actor, born on August 10, 1965, in Nairobi, Kenya. He performed in cinema, TV, and theaters. He was a stand-up comedian. He is fluent in several languages. His notable works include Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Blinded by the Light (2019), and My Life as a Popat (2004-2007). He has two children with his partner, the French artist Blandine Martin.
