She is an American actress, born on April 20, 1967, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. She graduated from William Allen High School in Allentown. Her mother was a homemaker and her father owned a pajama factory. She graduated from New York University and Fordham School of Law. Her acting career began on Broadway in 1980. She is known for Gimme a Break! (1981-1987) and provided the voice for Doc McStuffins (2012-2020), The Loud House (2014), and Curious George (2009-2022).
