An American actress, she was born in Massachusetts, on March 25, 1916. She was married to Dan Winkler (1943-1970), and remained with him until his death. She had hoped to study art in New York and Europe, after graduating from high school, but won a beauty contest. Rogers, changed all her plans, after Warner Bros offered her a contract in Hollywood. Her most important works: Charlie Chan in Panama (1940), Flash Gordon (1936) and Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars (1938). She retired to take care of her family, but she did not have children. She died after a surgery in 1991 at the age of 74.
