She was educated at Hollywood High School, and she practiced acting in the school theater, and gave some performances at the Pasadena Theater, Then she studied drama at the Maria Uspiskaya Drama School, and signed a contract during the war years with MGM and made her first film, Her First Beau 1941, and appeared in small roles in a number of successful films, and her acting abilities appeared when she presented a supporting role in the family comedy The Human Comedy 1943 with Mickey Rooney , Frank Morgan, James Craig, Marsha Hunt and Van Johnson, then her role in Cry Havoc 1943 with Joan Blondell, Margaret Sullivan, Anne Southern, Faye Pinter and Marsha Hunt, and the highlight of her career was the family drama film Our Vines Have Tender Grapes 1945 with Edward Robinson, Agnes Moorhead, Margaret O'Brien and James Craig, and her other notable films include Pilot No. 5 1943 and Someone to Remember 1943 and None Shall Escape 1944. She presented her last film, Little Miss Big 1946, and devote herself to her family life, which resulted in two sons.
