An American actress, born on December 4, 1989, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. She grew up in West Philadelphia. Nafessa attended Robert E. Lamberton High School and studied criminal justice at West Chester University. She started her acting career in 2011. Her notable works include Twin Peaks (2017), Black Lightning (2018-2021), and Black and Blue (2019).
