Vanessa Kai is an American actress. She is a Native New Yorker who studied at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, a.k.a. the "FAME" School. in Manhattan, New York City. Also, she graduated from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Sociobiology and Psychology. She began her acting career in 1996 and is best known for Orange Is the New Black (2015), New Amsterdam (2018), and Kung Fu (2021-2022).
