An American actor born in Los Angeles, California, on May 18, 1915 as Edward Sheppard Price. He died in Colombo Prison in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) on May 17, 1972 from a brain hemorrhage. John Shelton married five times and had four children. His notable films include: Foreign Agent (1942), The Time of Their Lives (1946), and Road to the Big House (1947). He finally retired in the 1950s to work in business.
