She is a Filipina actress, television host, and singer. She was born on August 27, 1970 in Iloilo City. In 1990, Pokwang went to Japan as an Overseas Filipino Worker and worked as a group dancer. She made her first appearance as a backup dancer in Eezy Dancing. Following her win in the reality talent show segment, Pokwang appeared in various dramas and sitcoms. She is known for Ode to Nothing (2018), Toda Max (2011–2013), and A Mother's Story (2011).
