American actor born in Leonia, New Jersey, on July 17, 1907. He was a leading actor during the 30s, but mostly in lower-rank B films, after which he became a successful talent agent. His films include: The Racket (1928), The Big Chance (1933) and The Primrose Path (1931). He died in 1980 at the age of 73.
