He is a Colombian actor, born on April 20, 1954, in Colombia. He has a degree in production from New York Media School. He is known for The Family (2013), Our Brand Is Crisis (2015), and Paraiso Travel (2008). He won his first prize as "Best Actor" at the 2007 Mexico International Film Festival for his performance as Manuel Chavez in the short film Chavez (2006).
