American actress, singer and musician, born on October 25, 1972, to an Irish-American mother and a Bahamian father. In her teens, she studied dancing, acting, singing and drawing. After high school, she signed with the Ford Agency and received a Screen Actors Guild card. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She appeared in several independent films, including Red Letters (2000). She's known for the TV series Girlfriends, The Vampire Diaries, and Breaker High.
