A Taiwanese actress, who was raised in Taipei, where she completed her high school education. She enrolled in a drama program at Guoguang School of the Arts (now National Taiwan College of Performing Arts), where her talent emerged and she became one of Taiwan's most famous models. Director Ching Siu-tung made use of Joey's elegance in the movie A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), and she also appeared in several works such as Xiang Gang xiao jie xie zhen (1987), Seng fat dak ging (1988), and Meng guo jie (1988).
