An American director, born on August 12, 1971. She is an associate professor at Ringling College of Art and Design. She taught filmmaking and directing at the University of Miami School of Communication, the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, and Columbia College Chicago. She earned an MFA degree in Creative Writing from Antioch University. She's known for Just One of the Guys (1985) and Across the Moon (1994).
