An American actress, born on December 26, 1956, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She studied drama at Carnegie Mellon University and obtained a BA in Acting and Drama. She started her acting career in 1963 and is best known for The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), Progression (2014), and Search for Tomorrow (1983).
