A Canadian actress and television journalist, born on October 7, 1957 in Toronto, Ontario, and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. She graduated from David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute. Her parents are originally from Nova Scotia. In her late teens, she moved back with her sister, Susan, to that province. Remaining in Toronto, Brown eventually embarked on a career in television and radio broadcasting. She's known for The Five-Year Engagement (2012), Answer This! (2011) and Conviction (2010).
