An Argentine actress, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her father was a Jewish immigrant from Poland and her mother was of Argentine descent. Ruth began her acting career in Argentina in the late 1970s. In 1976, she moved to Spain with her father and brother, musician Ariel Roth. Ruth's first notable role came in 1980 when she starred in the film Pepi, Luci, Bom y otras chicas del montón, and she is known for several works such as Laberinto de pasiones (1982), La tregua (2005), and Pain and Glory (2019).
