A British actor, born in London, England, on May 19, 1914, and died in London, England, on January 19, 1966. His notable work includes The Arthur Haynes Show (1956-1965), Strange Bedfellows (1965), and Carnaby M.D. (1966). He served with the Royal Engineers during World War II, and formed a band in the British Army with his colleague Charlie Chester, and after the war, they worked on the radio program Stand Easy (1946-1949). He achieved great success when he presented his own show, The Arthur Haynes Show. He released an album in 1963. He died in 1966 of a heart attack at the age of 52.
