He was born in Kensington, London, England, on July 7, 1915 as John Vere Biggar. Among the most important roles of John Vere are in The Duchess of Malfi (1949), BBC Sunday-Night Theater (1950), and David Copperfield (1956). John Fair is an English film and television actor, who made his debut in the movie I See a Dark Stranger (1946) and ended his career with the series Hancock's Half Hour (1956- 1960).He died in 1961 at the age of 45 from a hypnotic overdose.
