She is a Scottish actress, born on May 26, 1991. She is of Pakistani descent and grew up in Pollokshields, Glasgow. She studied marine and environmental biology at Scotland's University of St Andrews. She also studied acting at the Oxford School of Drama. She is known for Murdered by My Father (2016), Black Mirror (2017), and Snatches: Moments from Women's Lives (2018).
