She has participated in local and international performances, including her two solo performances, The Astronomical Grass and Night and Day, Beirut, which premiered at the Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival in Germany. Yara received a grant from AFAC to produce her work 'ēvolvō', which was shown for the first time at the BIPOD- Beirut International Platform of Dance, then at Al Madina Theater, and later at the Ciało/Umysł Festival in Warsaw, Poland.
