English actress of Indian descent born on 11 February 1983. She grew up in Shanghai, China. She began her acting career onstage while studying Law in London. Her onscreen debut was in Indian cinema even though she did not speak Indian at the time. Her first acting role was on Heroes and Villains (2006).
