An actor and a writer who was born in China, but his family emigrated to the United States when he was seven years old and settled in Houston, Texas. He studied acting at Stephen F Austin High School. He married Michelle Lee, and they got two daughters. He won the Excellence Award at the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival in 2002. He is known for Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Pineapple Express (2008), and Dr. Ken (2015-2017), and Birds of Prey (2020).
