Following an apprenticeship for a year with the Minnesota Dance Theatre, she returned to San Francisco to complete the professional training program at the Alonzo King LINES Ballet, where she started choreographing small projects. In 2012, she went to Germany to work with Ballet Mainz, and in 2016, Sally sought to be a freelance artist and has been working all over Europe in acting, modeling, and choreography projects. She has worked in both theater and film and is best known for Adventures of a Mathematician (2020), Babylon Berlin (2017-2020), and Tourists (2017).
