She created her own troupe in 1973 and designed more than 50 works of expressive solo and ensemble performances. She also appeared in many important works by Robert Wilson. She worked with Robert Wilson and Mikhail Baryshnikov on Wilson's new production, Letter to a Man, which premiered in Spoleto, Italy in 2015. The short film Prune. Flat. is one of her early works.
