An American actor, born on April 9, 1921, in Floresville, Texas, USA. He was the brother of Texas Governor John Connally. He was a delegate to the 1956 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. His works include Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), Rush (1991), and The Sugarland Express (1974). He died on September 4, 2001, in Floresville, Texas, USA.
