An American actor, born in Hempstead, Long Island, New York, USA. He was an actor, dancer, and dialect coach. He played the roles of Indians, European villagers, and Middle Eastern men. His most important works include The Party (1968), Days of Wine and Roses (1962), The Green Hornet (1966), and The Pink Panther (1963). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA on February 11, 1969, due to a stroke at the age of 48.
