An American actress, born in New York City, USA. Her notable works include Washee Ironee (1934), Into Her Kingdom (1926), No Publicity (1927), and Maude Muller (1928). She worked in silent and sound films and played the role of the widow and the upper-class lady, in addition to other roles. She was known in Hollywood as "The queen of the dress extras.", and she appeared in more than 200 films, including several Laurel and Hardy comedies. She didn't work on television. Her first silent film was Married Flirts (1924) and her first sound film was Synthetic Sin (1929). Her last appearance was in The Eddie Cantor Story (1953). She died in Loma Linda, California, USA on May 27, 1976, at the age of 88.
