American singer and actress, born in Atlanta, USA. In 1948, she moved to New York to search for an opportunity to work in the field of singing and acting, and there she met the composer Vernon Duke, who presented her in the summer of 1950 in one of the artistic performances. She appeared a year later in her first appearance on Broadway. Her film credits, include Hansel and Gretel, and Thumbelina. She died on August 8, 2017, in Manhattan, in the United States.
