An American actress, model, and fashion designer, born in Los Angeles, California, in the United States, to an African-American father and an Ashkenazi mother. She attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles and dropped out at the age of 19 to work for the fashion designer, Tommy Hilfiger. She worked as a model and appeared in many advertisements. She is known for Black & White (1999) and Empire (2002).
