American singer, actress, dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker born on 22 September 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US. She danced professionally since childhood but her career began when she danced and was assistant choreographer to David Winters on Shindig! (1964). Her works include Village of the Giants (1965), Head (1968), Easy Rider (1969), and American Graffiti (1973). She has also released several albums and music videos.
