She continued to play small roles in addition to her work as a model. She married musician Johnny Green and continued her work until she retired from acting and worked in many charities very actively in Beverly Hills, where she lived with her husband, the award-winning musician. She won 5 Oscars. She died in 1992 of leukemia at the age of 76.
