Spanish actor, born in Barcelona on November 10, 1894. He was married to the opera singer and actress Rosa Rey. He moved to the United States of America in 1924. He worked in Hollywood in the 1930s until the 1960s. His first movie was King of Jazz in 1930 and his last was the TV series The Name of the Game in 1971. His most important works are: The Gay Cavalier in 1946, South of the Rio Grande in 1945 and The Cisco Kid in Old New Mexico in 1945. He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, on June 12, 1981.
