A British actor born in Glamorgan, on July 5, 1934.He got married twice and had two children. He played many roles in theatrical, television, radio and cinematic roles. He had a resonant voice and played the role of villains and officers. He was known to be an accomplished linguist, fluent in 7 languages. He joined Jefferson School of Languages, then studied at University College Cardiff and the University of Vienna. He worked as an interpreter in Vienna before moving to theatrical work. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art RADA and worked with the Welsh Theater Company and then the Royal Shakespeare Company. He was a familiar face in British television and prolific during the sixties. Philip was nominated for the 2013 IIFC Award for Best Actor in a Short Film. Among his most important works are: The Count of Montecristo (1964), The Monsters (1962), The Avengers (1962-1968), and The Bourne Identity (1988).He died in 2012 at the age of 77.
