Her most important works include Fan and Fancy Free (1947), Song of the South (1946), and Home from the Hill (1960). She worked as a child actress and started her career as a model at the age of three. When she was eight, she was one of the first contractors with Walt Disney. She made a number of films until 1948 and then stopped for eight years, as she joined Burbank High School and Hollywood Professional School. She returned to Universal with Rock, Pretty Baby (1956) and continued to appear in films and television programs until she presented They Ran for Their Lives (1968) and some TV episodes until 1970. She stopped for a while and came back again in 1988 with Grotesque (1988). She then retired completely until her death aged 57.
