An American actor, born in Iowa, on April 23, 1918. He got married to the actress Mavis Russell, and they had one daughter, and after their divorce, he got married to Virginia Harford in 1941. He is an American actor and comedian in film and television, providing additional supporting roles. His most important works are: The Big Step (1961), Flight to Hong Kong (1956), and One Step Beyond (1959). He died in Los Angeles, on October 5, 1962 of leukemia, at the age of 44.
