American actor born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on June 24, 1922 as Lars E. Hanson and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on December 23, 1999. He married Clare B. Mattocks in 1955. His most important works are The Champ (1979) and Cannon (1974). He was an American actor in film and television. By the end of the forties, he worked as a substitute for many actors in cinema and television, and in the sixties, he developed a friendship with Lee J Cobb and worked regularly as a substitute. He played supporting roles, such as party guests, and show viewers. He died in 1999 at the age of 77.
