An American actress, born in Maryland, United States, to writer Bebe Moore Campbell. Maia attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, but she did not complete her studies at the university, as she pursued her artistic career. Her works include Poetic Justice (1993) and Seventeen Again (2000).
