John...Read more Forrest was born in America to an American father who was a lawyer and a mother who was an English plastic artist. He came to England at the age of 5 and became a professional magician before he turned to acting at the age of 14. His career was successful as a stage magician, and he resided in France, performing in nightclubs in Paris and Monte Carlo as well as in Palm Springs, Hollywood, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. John Forrest was educated at the Imperial Service College in Windsor. He had a passion for drawing. He debuted with his first movie Great Expectations (1946) and also participated in the Aldrich Theater with Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. John Forrest also participated in many TV programs. His last work was the series The Bawdy Adventures of Tom Jones (1976). He died in 2012 at the age of 80.
