John James MacDonald was a British voice actor. He was born on May 19, 1906, in Crewe, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom. His works include Cinderella (1950), Alice in Wonderland (1951), and The Black Hole (1979). MacDonald was married to Sarah Roberta Cullen. He was the voice of Mickey Mouse from 1947 to 1977. He created more than 28,000 sound effects for 139 feature films and 335 animated shorts while working at Disney. He died on February 1, 1991, in Glendale, California, USA.
