Mary Jones was a British writer and actress who worked in television and cinema. Jones was Welsh, born in Ryder, Radnorshire, Wales, on February 20, 1915 as Mary Alban Jones. Mary Jones' most important roles are in BBC Sunday-Night Theater (1956), Account Rendered (1957), and Under Milk Wood (1971). She made her debut in Hay Fever (1946), and ended her career with an episode in the series Ennal's Point (1982). Mary Jones died in 1990 at the age of 75.
