She was a British actress, born on September 11, 1921, in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is known for Anne of the Thousand Days (1969), Assassin for Hire (1951), and Folio (1955-1959). She was married to Charles Jarrott, David Greene and Anthony Jacobs. Blake won the BAFTA for Best Actress for her work in television in 1964. She died on March 1, 1991, at the age of 69, in London, England.
