A Brazilian actress and writer, born in Franca, São Paulo, Brazil, as Regina Blois Duarte. She married 4 times. Her mother was a piano teacher. Regina is the eldest of five children. She started working in TV commercials at the age of fourteen. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro invited her to be a member of the culture secretary, but she left to take over the Cinemateca of Sao Paulo. Her works include Irmãos Coragem (1970), Roque Santeiro (1985), and Never Too Old to Meow (2014).
