Robin Short was a Canadian actor, born on November 26, 1912, in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada. He was a folk singer, a classical guitar player, and he wrote several children's plays, such as "The Red Shoes." He is known for I Shot Jesse James (1949), The Return of Jesse James (1950), The Buckskin Lady (1957), and Science Fiction Theatre (1955–1956). He died on October 4, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, USA, at the age of 67.
